Psoas Ball: Targeted Muscle Release for everywhere
What It Does
12cm of pure release.....This isn't just a psoas release tool as the name may suggest. It's the one thing in your gym bag that replaces your foam roller, your massage gun, and your "I'll book a physio eventually" excuse.
It's shaped and sized to sink into deep, specific trigger points - not just mash the general area like a foam roller trying its best. Precision over vibes.
Where it works:
- lower back and pelvis
- To relieve Thoracic / upper back pain
- Hips, hip flexors and glutes
- Quads/Knee
- Shoulder
Why it replaces your foam roller:
It's small enough to actually go where you go - gym bag, sports bag, overnight bag. You don't need to pack a foam roller and a ball and a massage gun. One tool, every tight spot, anywhere you are.
How to Use It
Two ways to work it: roll it, or park it and hold.
-
Find the spot that's tight, sore, or referring pain elsewhere.
-
Either roll slowly through small sections of the area at a time or hold still on the exact pain/tight point. Your call.
-
Breathe through it. If the intensity eases with each breath, you're on the right spot. 30-60 seconds per spot. Both sides, every time - yes, even the one that "feels fine."
Significant tenderness on a tight spot is normal - that's how you know you've found it. It shouldn't ever tip into sharp or sickening pain; if it does, ease off the pressure. If a spot is very reactive, work it gently and briefly, a little more each day, rather than forcing it in one go.
5 minutes a day on your target areas is enough to make real change.
Who It's For
Paddlers, rowers, runners, CrossFitters, and anyone who sits at a desk pretending their hips aren't slowly turning to concrete. If you move for a living or move because you love it, your body is working overtime. This is how you actually recover it, instead of just stretching around the problem.
When to use it:
Before sport - loosen tightness, reduce injury risk
After sport - recover and release
As maintenance - ongoing mobility work to keep pain from creeping back in
Basically, an at-home physio session, on demand.
A Quick Note
The Psoas Ball is a recovery tool, not a medical device. If you've got an injury or persistent pain, check with a health professional before diving in. Aim for "uncomfortable but productive pain that subsides/reduces after a few breaths," never sharp pain. You know your body, use it sensibly.
